[1036.00060] 1036 Strap Hinge Back Plate-For 36" Long Hinge

When through bolting #434, #1035, #1036 and #1047 strap hinges to a non-reinforced door (example:hollow metal), you must use hinge back plates. The back plate distributes the force of the fasteners over a larger surface area, thus preventing damage to the door. Available for 18", 19" 24" 30" and 36" strap lengths. To be used with #1036.00034, #1036.00040 Hinge or #1047.00012. Construction: Steel, hole centers match strap hinge size. Size: 3/16" x 3" x 34" long Fasteners not included.
